One of the best parts about being a wedding planner is that no wedding is the same as the last. When Ariana contacted me, she was already enjoying every part of the wedding planning process herself, but had realised, that with busy careers, herself and her fiancé Perran, could do with some additional support as the date approached, so they booked us for the ‘Final Month and On the Day Coordination’ Package.

Picking up the planning late in the day is always very exciting to see what the couple have created so far, and this couple had achieved a great deal! As most of their guests were travelling from afar for the day, they were looking to hold a weekend of celebrations in the local area. The couple required our services for both the Saturday wedding and the Sunday post-wedding brunch and we were more than happy to step up to the challenge.

The couple had booked Lulworth Castle as their wedding venue, a personal favourite in the area, and had already secured a number of fabulous suppliers including Rabbit & Rose Catering, Tara Sanger Make Up Artist, Lemontree Photography, Sweetcheeks Bakehouse, Chris Piercy Magic, TFI Band and Absolute Casino.

The Sunday arrangements were still to be confirmed upon starting work with the couple, so we focused on finalising these details for them. This included securing the Sunday venue, The Bishops Hotel Lulworth, and booking caterers, The Tickled Pig, and venue furniture, The Great British Deck Chair Company.

On the day itself, the air of excitement was palatable throughout the venue. Ariana arrived and looked incredible, happiness was glowing from her! Following the ceremony the couple’s plan ran perfectly with guests enjoying ever flowing champagne during the reception and delicious food from Rabbit & Rose throughout the day. Unfortunately, the summer weather had turned and the fog swirled around the Castle, but this did nothing to dampen the moods of a very buoyant wedding party! With the added touch of some Human Hedges to add something unique to the day! The evening finished with a full dance floor of guests enjoying music from TFI Band and a firework display to send guests home to from Fireworks Solutions.

Sunday dawned, the fog had lifted, and the June summer sun shone brightly on Bishops Hotel and across the views of Lulworth Cove. The outdoor swimming pool glittered enticingly as guests with slightly sore heads started arriving to the smell of fantastic food being prepared by The Tickled Pig Caterers. The day was spent lounging by the pool…and in the pool for some, enjoying mounds of food and some cheeky drinks for those that could face them! All serenaded by the Brazilian Bossa Nova Band, the perfect summers day backdrop.

Following the event, this fantastic couple were setting off on the Mongolian Rally as part of their honeymoon, all to raise money for brilliant charities…but before they left, they had time to leave us the most fantastic review:
